My favorite part of this deviation is the portrayal of Cry, himself. I myself don’t have much knowledge of Cry, but I like him okay. You said it was just a “quickie”, but the animation is strikingly smooth and professional, despite that information. The pixels spread out when he yells/screams/etc shows the “virus” aspect (like a computer or game glitching out and pixels splay out over the screen). The perspective is well done, and the close up on his face makes a really dramatic feeling. The fact that his mask is broken (since Cry is famous for not showing his face) and you can see part of his facial features gives me a sense of foreboding. And I absolutely love his expression. The only constructive criticism I have to offer is that you make the animation longer. He just lunges forward and then it pulls back. But I can let that slide, seeing as this was a short little project.
